Glow Mask Ingredients
Turmeric
Turmeric contains antioxidants, antimicrobial and anti-inflammatory components. Turmeric may also revive your skin by bringing out its natural glow. Another one of turmeric’s benefit for skin is its ability to calm the skin, reducing acne breakouts and scarring. Using a face mask that contains turmeric can help exfoliate the skin and reduce the signs of aging. Regular turmeric use gives the skin a radiant quality.
CAUTION: When applied to the skin, turmeric can temporarily stain the skin or leave a yellow residue. This is normal. Make sure you rinse your face thoroughly with lukewarm water. If you’re allergic to turmeric, direct skin contact can cause irritation, redness, and swelling. Those who experience symptoms of allergic reaction should stop using the face mask immediately. Do not use turmeric on your skin if you’re allergic to the spice in food. Before applying the Natural Glow face mask, test a small amount of the mixture on the skin and wait a few hours to see if you react to it.
Lemon Peel
Lemon peel helps in preventing and fighting skin problems such as wrinkles, acne, pigmentation and dark spots. The free radicals play a very important role in this process. Lemon peel is rich in antioxidants which tend to detoxify the skin to a very great extent. Lemon peel is also great for skin exfoliation because it contains alpha hydroxy acids.
Goat Milk
Dermatologists agree that goat's milk works for all skin types and has multiple benefits including boosting moisture levels, repairing the skin's barrier, preventing fine lines and wrinkles, and reducing acne. Studies show goat's milk can keep your skin soft and moisturized, making it a great ingredient in skincare products. It has high levels of vitamin A, which aids in keeping your skin healthy. Its high levels of lactic acid can help your skin shed its dead cells, making your complexion brighter in the process, and it has a pH level that's friendly to human skin.
CAUTION: Do not use goat’s milk on your
skin if you’re allergic to goat’s milk.
Oatmeal
Oats act as a natural cleanser and exfoliator by removing dead skin cells to reveal smoother, brighter skin complexions. Oatmeal can soak up the excess oil on your skin and help treat acne. Its antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties help to treat dry skin and remove dead skin cells. Oats also contain compounds called saponins, which are natural cleansers. They remove the dirt and oil that clog the pores and exfoliate the skin.
Kaolin Clay
Kaolin clay is an excellent choice for those with sensitive skin who still wish to exfoliate. Kaolin clay's natural texture allows it to gently get rid of dull dead skin and impurities for a smoother, brighter complexion. Kaolin clay is great for purifying and detoxifying the pores, removing dirt, grime, pollution, and germs. Kaolin clay also helps control oiliness.
Glow Serum Ingredients
Rosehip Seed
Rosehip seed contains Vitamin A and Omega 3 & 6 essential fatty acids, which is necessary for healthy skin. Not only does the fatty acids and Vitamin A moisturize the skin, but they also promote skin regeneration, improve skin texture and can help reduce the appearance of acne scars.
Sea Buckthorn
Sea buckthorn promotes skin hydration, cell regeneration, elasticity, and can even help prevent acne. Sea Buckthorn reduces the three major signs of ageing skin - wrinkles, fine lines and age spots. Sea buckthorn also has anti-inflammatory properties that help reduce swelling and redness associated with many skin conditions, including eczema, psoriasis and rosacea. The rich vitamins in Sea buckthorn will leave your skin with a natural glow and feeling soft-to-the-touch.
Argan Oil
Argan oil contains antioxidants, like polyphenols and vitamin E. These ingredients can help brighten your skin tone and protect skin cells from free radical damage (the precursor to everything from acne to early signs of aging). Argan oil is a great moisturizer for your skin because it is full of fatty acids.
Jojoba Oil
Jojoba oil has anti-inflammatory properties which help to reduce redness caused by drying, ease the effects of eczema and rosacea, and keep skin calm and comfortable. The Vitamin E and B-complex vitamins in the Jojoba oil help in skin repair and damage control. Jojoba oil can help slow down the appearance of aging, and help to fade fine lines and wrinkles. Because Jojoba oil is very similar to human skin oils, its use can trick the skin into thinking it has produced enough oil and thus balance oil production, without promoting acne or other skin problems.
Carrot Oil
Carrot oil is a great skin moisturizer and can also be used to heal dry skin, brighten and tone skin, and help reduce the appearance of wrinkles. Vitamin A in carrots flush out excessive oil and keeps the skin fresh and free of toxins.
Vitamin E Oil
Vitamin E oil moisturizes and nourishes your skin. It adds to your glow and makes your skin smooth and healthy. Vitamin E oil is also known to reduce hyperpigmentation and wrinkles, besides maintaining skin health. Vitamin E oil may prevent scarring by helping your skin to retain moisture while boosting collagen production. It also helps to protect your skin from damage caused by free radicals.
Sweet Almond Oil
Sweet almond oil is great for soothing dry skin, and can also improve complexion and skin tone. It's highly emollient, which means it helps to balance the absorption of moisture and water loss. Because it is antibacterial and full of Vitamin A, sweet almond oil can be used to improve acne. Sweet almond oil is also an anti-inflammatory and can help reduce puffiness and under-eye circles.
Avocado Oil
Avocado oil can help soothe and heal your skin. The antioxidants and anti-inflammatory agents in avocado oil help your skin stay smooth, strong, and elastic. Avocado oil contains a high percentage of Vitamin E, as well as potassium, lecithin, and many other nutrients which can nourish your skin. The oleic acid also promotes collagen production, which helps grow new skin. This accelerates the healing process, helping with issues like sunburn. Avocado oil can also act as a natural sunblock.
Sweet Orange
Sweet orange contains a good amount of Vitamin C, which can help to reduce blemishes and dark spots. Sweet orange can also help fight off free radicals to prevent premature skin aging, boost circulation in the skin, promote cell growth and collagen synthesis, shrink large pores, and firm the skin. The antibacterial properties in sweet orange can help fight acne.
